Start with the idea, then work through it
The Cambridge 9618 Computer Science route follows AS and A-level syllabus chapters in order, with original teaching, worked examples, answered practice and programming tasks. The course keeps its existing learner records while expanding beyond its first chapter. The unit list shows what you can study next.
Use Read for the explanation, Examples & models for worked reasoning, and Recall & practise to write an answer before comparing it. Your self-review records what you want to revisit; it is not an official exam grade.
Connections and output
G1 = AND(A, B)G2 = NOT(G1)
Output: Y = G2. Follow the wires from each input to the output; the small output circle means inversion.
Try A = 1 and B = 1: G1 is 1, so Y is 0. If either input is 0, G1 is 0 and Y is 1. This combination has the same truth table as NAND.
For this example, work through every input pair before checking your table. Drawing a circuit, tracing its intermediate values and comparing the result with the expression connect three views of the same idea.
A study space with a clear focus
Choose SAT, IELTS, AS / A level, AP, IGCSE or university preparation at the top of the sidebar. The rest of your tools remain accessible. Flashcards start with your enrolled courses, then ordered topics and an individual deck. Your personal cards have their own place.
Give paper checking its own place
The sidebar now opens the paper checker directly. Supply a mark scheme and student work, or use an assessment you created. Explicit multiple-choice keys are checked without an AI call. Written responses can receive provisional rubric-based feedback for a teacher to review.
In the creator, choose your chapters, question types and total marks. Generated questions are original practice. Official publisher resources are linked separately; FocusED does not label generated questions as past papers or promise an official score.

Free accounts can enroll in two courses and use five successful exam creations and five successful paper checks each month. Existing older enrollments are preserved. Premium adds unlimited course enrollments and saved AI tutor conversations, with higher assessment allowances. AI credits are a separate limit.
