Privacy notice
Updated 15 October 2026 · English
This notice describes the data used by the current FocusED platform and the choices you have when using its features.
Information you provide
FocusED processes account and profile information, such as your name, username, email and optional bio, contact details and social links. Depending on the tools you use, it also stores learning progress, classroom membership and work, assessment answers and feedback, university choices, application records, uploaded documents and essays, community messages and support requests. Add only information needed for your intended use.
Storage and access
Supabase provides the platform’s authentication, database and file storage. Account sessions and some study preferences or draft answers use browser storage. Teachers can access work within their authorized classrooms. Administrators and moderators can manage the records, requests and community content their permissions allow. Public posts and profile information you choose to share can be visible to other users; avoid including private documents or personal details in public spaces.
AI and other service providers
When you use an AI feature, its prompt and the material you include can be sent to the AI provider configured by the administrator. Provider rules for processing, retention, eligibility and use of submitted data differ, including between paid and unpaid services. Ask the team which provider is active before sending sensitive information. Our responsible AI page links the relevant provider information. Opening an external paper, meeting or social link takes you to that provider’s service and privacy rules.
Purpose and retention
The platform uses these records to provide your account, learning tools, classrooms, feedback, application workspace, community moderation and support. Hosting and authentication services can process technical connection and security information needed to operate the service. Records remain available while needed for those features or until removed through available controls or an account request. Provider backups, security records and applicable obligations may limit immediate removal of every copy; no fixed deletion deadline is promised here.
Email signup and account deletion
Email/password registration currently provides immediate access without sending a confirmation email. Use an address you own: entering a valid address does not verify mailbox ownership. One active account can use each email address. Profile settings let you delete your account after entering your current password and confirming the action. Completed deletion removes sign-in, profile details, private notes, application records and files in your personal folders; the email can then be used to create a new account. Shared classes, published contributions, messages and submitted classwork can remain with an anonymised author. Shared classroom files outside personal folders can remain with the class. Authentication tombstones, service backups and security records can remain according to provider retention. Account deletion cannot be undone.
Your choices and requests
Review and edit your profile, remove optional social links and use the available controls for your documents and other saved work. For access, correction, deletion or a failed account-deletion request, contact umrzoqprimqulov48@gmail.com. The team may need to verify account ownership before acting. Do not send your password or an API key. You can also use the platform’s contact page.
