Use FocusED to learn, practise and plan your next steps. These are the expectations for using the platform and sharing work with others.
Your account and access
Keep your sign-in details private and use only accounts you are entitled to access. Register with an email address you own. Email confirmation is currently not required, and each email can have one active account until that account is deleted from Profile settings. Your role, enrollment and administrator permissions determine which tools and records you can use. Follow the age, consent and eligibility requirements that apply to you and to any connected service; obtain a parent or guardian’s permission where required.
Your work and other people’s rights
You keep the rights you hold in your uploaded work. Submit only material you are permitted to share and allow FocusED and its service providers to process it as needed for the features you choose. Respect copyright, privacy and classroom rules. Publisher-hosted official papers remain subject to their publishers’ terms; an official link does not imply a partnership or endorsement.
Academic integrity and community conduct
Use practice and feedback to build your own understanding. Do not submit someone else’s work as your own, use the platform to cheat on restricted assessments, impersonate others, harass people, share harmful or unlawful material, expose private information or interfere with accounts and systems. Administrators may review reports and restrict access according to their permissions and platform rules.
AI, marks and university decisions
AI can make mistakes. Review generated questions, solutions and citations before relying on them. Subjective AI grades are provisional; a responsible teacher should review final assessment decisions. University suggestions and planning materials are guidance, and current requirements must be checked with the institution. FocusED does not guarantee an exam score, admission offer or other outcome. Availability and questions
Content and features can change, and online access depends on the platform and its service providers. Keep a copy of important work.
